What Is Conventional Quick Lime
Quick Lime, commonly known as Calcium Oxide or Burnt Lime, is a white, acidic, alkaline, solid substance produced by heating high-quality natural deposit Limestone in specially designed Kilns. The product then passes through various quality checks, thereby ensuring flawless supplies at the customer’s end. It is mostly used in the Paper Industry, Sugar Industry, Steel Industry, etc.
Ankur Minerals Pvt. Ltd. is India’s leading Quick Lime manufacturer, known for its quality. We understand the customer’s needs and serve them according to their requirements.
How is Conventional Quick Lime Produced?
Quick Lime is obtained through a process called calcination, where natural limestone is heated at high temperatures (above 900°C), driving off carbon dioxide and leaving behind calcium oxide:
CaCO3→CaO+CO2
The result is a dry, white, or grayish material with powerful chemical properties, making it an essential raw material in several industries.
